Still no clear answer by Spain's Ministry of Agriculture to Greenpeace's letter on pesticide

After Greenpeace's open letter to the Ministry of Agriculture (Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente MAPAMA), on which a total ban on bee harmful pesticides was requested, the Ministry has given an unclear answer.

In their response, it is said that only a dialogue exchange has started but it is too soon to determine a position.

As Api Cultura Ibérica has recalled, the Ministry's response states also that the decrease in population is not due to a unique factor but rather from a compound of different factors which must all be taken into account.

However, this response seems rather unsatisfactory to address the issue bee harming pesticides, considering all different evidence that has been accrued in the last years.
